Well, mostly right. My husband and I are still technically married. Bout 30 yrs now if im counting right. We met when we were both in the Army. Problem is we were both fairly heavy drinkers and he still is. No abusive stuff lotta bickering. He lost interest in me as a woman. Sadly i didnt lose interest in BEING a woman and im the one who jumoed the fence. Frequently. We get along. I mean, when you actually have ZERO emotional investment its quite easy to see eye to eye on the things we always tolf ourself 'really matter." But we never mattered much to each other. His family is just (please nobody get offended) white-people cold and weird. His mom is a vial of swamp gas and i told her to gtfo out my house.On the other hand my loud-ass Puerto Rican family was dangerous, twisted and sadistic. My dad was a malignant narcissist and my mom was his dumb ass punching bag. I guess my point is that people are products of their own environments and by the time you develop the insight to actually improve your life, 9 times outa 10 its too late. Maybe somebody will read this and realize that being in a good telationship takes work on both sides. There is a time when 'too late' comes if you dont.
